This handmade Sterling-Silver Bangle has been hand forged by Anticlastic Raising, which gives it the curved shape.
The definition of Anticlastic is a curve within a curve, Anticlastic raising, refers to shaping an object where the dominant axes move in opposite directions. This results in a surface possessing hyperbolic geometry.
The inner part of the curve is decorated with small granulation beads, in order to create, a hidden constellation, oxidized and polished.
The bangle, has been matte finished on the outside, and oxidized in the inner curve so the black patina surface creates a nice contrast with the white polished granulation beads.
